Number-One Branded Honey Company Continues Supporting Mothers in Need

MCKINNEY, TEXAS – (May 9, 2019) – In honor of Mother’s Day, Nature Nate’s Honey Co., the number-one branded honey company in the U.S. and producer of 100% Pure, Raw & Unfiltered Honey, today announced a $10,000 donation to Single Parent Advocate, a Dallas-based non-profit dedicated to educating, equipping and empowering single parents. While Nature Nate’s is committed to providing support to families and vulnerable communities across the U.S., the company has decided this year to extend support to a local organization that provides resources to single parents in need.

This is the third year in a row that Nature Nate’s has leveraged its corporate giving program, Honey Gives Hope, to support mothers and children in honor of Mother’s Day.

This year’s Very Giving Mother’s Day donation to Single Parent Advocate will aid in their mission to provide single parent families with resources, practical assistance, emotional encouragement, and social networking to better their lives and those of their children.

In 2017, Nature Nate’s donated a total of $50,000 to women’s shelters in ten U.S. cities through Honey Gives Hope. The shelters that received the donations serve victims of domestic violence and their children. Last year, Nature Nate’s continued its commitment of helping families in vulnerable communities nationally by donating $10,000 to Operation Shower. Founded in 2007, Operation Shower has hosted showers for thousands of military families across the U.S. The showers provide essentials for moms and babies, while giving families a chance to come together.

Honey Gives Hope supports vulnerable communities in tandem with an array of organizations, including National Breast Cancer Foundation, The Samaritan Inn, EmpowerOne and others to meet needs around breast cancer awareness, protection of women and children, education and the arts, and homelessness.
