Nate’s Spreads Hope to U.S. Food Banks this Summer
With the start of summer, Nate’s is spreading a sweet message of hope by donating 25,000 honey minis to five food banks across the country. The donation, which is part of Nate’s corporate giving initiative, Honey Gives Hope, will help local communities during a busy time of year.
With many schools wrapping up the year for summer break, food banks will experience higher demand without the assistance of school lunch programs. We’re honored that we could provide 100% pure honey to families with added responsibilities and help children enjoy delicious, all-natural sweet treats during summer break.
Nate’s has donated honey minis to:
- Greater Boston Food Bank
- Kids’ Meals Inc. in Houston
- Los Angeles Regional Food Bank
- Northwest Arkansas Food Bank
- The Open Door in Lakeville, Minn.
The Honey Gives Hope program is Nate’s commitment to serve beyond the bottle. The program provides financial or product donations to nourish communities in need, assist organizations that support women and children, and protect the health of bees and hives through university research grants. Earlier this year, Nate’s provided a financial donation to Dress for Success Twin Cities in honor of Mother’s Day.
