Love in Action
You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. -Mark 12:30-1
The family that makes up Nate’s Honey Co. is one of diversity, creativity and love. One of our desires is to be the most bee-loved honey company in the world; not only for our award-winning taste but also for our bee-loving attitude. We strive to serve our teammates, our families, customers, beekeepers, retailers, and partner vendors with kindness and respect, as shown through our Bee Attitudes. This starts at the top with Nature Nate himself and permeates everything we do. To put it simply, our heart is to see love in action. We aim to do this through…
The way we serve: When we seek to serve others in love, we cultivate an opportunity to see them as more than just a person or a resource – we see them as a gift from God. We are entrusted to be good stewards in the way we serve, because we know it is a reflection of how Christ loves and serves us.
The way we give: Nate’s defines generosity as an opportunity to go beyond what is expected and give distinctly from the heart. Proverbs 11:25 states that, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” Through our corporate giving program Honey Gives Hope, we are able to partner with organizations such as The National Breast Cancer Foundation, food banks, women’s shelters, and many more. We also show love to the creatures responsible for honey and pollination through our Long Live the Bees initiative that invests in university research for honey bees and their long-term health. Through our time, talents and treasures, we desire to take what we give and the way we give to the next level as we live out love in action.
The way we speak: Words are powerful. They have the ability to tear someone down or build them up. As a team, we desire to speak life and love into the people and communities around us. Whether on social media, in a video, or in person, our hope is that what we say and do has a positive impact on the way you live.
Our hope is that when you see that bright orange label on your counter or in the store, you are reminded that we are more than just a honey company. Click here to learn more about our story and mission.
