Honey Cream Soda

Make your own delicious homemade Honey Cream Soda with this simple idea. A basic honey simple syrup is flavored with vanilla, then stirred into seltzer water for an all-natural soda that will take you back to your favorite memories of summer. Serve with heavy cream or ice cream, or keep it easy and simply serve it as a bubbly, golden soda.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Nate’s 100% Pure Honey
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 Tbsp pure vanilla extract (or 1 vanilla bean, pod + scraped seeds)
  • 3-4 drops marshmallow extract (optional)
  • Sparkling water
  • Crushed ice
  • Heavy cream or ice cream (if desired)

Directions

In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine honey, lemon and water, stirring just until warmed and well combined. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract and marshmallow extract (if using).

To serve, add 2-3 tablespoons of honey syrup to a glass, top with seltzer water. Stir to mix, then fill glass with ice.

Top with a drizzle of heavy cream for an Italian Cream Soda. Or nix the ice and top with vanilla ice cream for a Cream Soda Float.
