Celebrating Moms with Donation to Dress for Success Twin Cities
It’s in our nature to give. And there’s no better way for us to recognize Mother’s Day than by giving back to communities through our Honey Gives Hope program.
This year, Nate’s is celebrating and supporting moms and other women with a financial donation to Dress for Success Twin Cities.
The donation will provide essential tools such as job readiness workshops, individual career coaching and more to empower women to define their own path to economic success. The organization also provides professional employment attire to build confidence from the first interview to the first day on the job and beyond.
“At Dress for Success Twin Cities we know that by elevating women we set into motion a ripple effect that extends to their children, families and communities, igniting positive change and empowering future generations,” said Stephanie Silvers, CEO of Dress for Success Twin Cities.
Dress for Success enables women through a two-fold approach that offers client-centered programming and employer systems change. Its programming focuses on supporting women as they define their own path to success. Its partnerships with employers create positive, lasting change for women in employment.
“This Mother’s Day, we are giving back to an organization that is empowering women to achieve career advancement, career stability and economic sustainability,” said Nathan Sheets, founder and president of Nate’s. “We measure Nate’s success not just by what we achieve but also by what we contribute, and we are proud to support the mission of Dress for Success Twin Cities, which enables women through long-lasting empowerment solutions.”
This is the eighth year that Nate’s corporate giving program, Honey Gives Hope, has supported mothers, other women and children in recognition of Mother’s Day. Last year, the company donated to Kids’ Meals, Inc. The donation provided children and families with access to healthy meals, especially preschool-aged children who are at a critical developmental stage and cannot access school-based free meal programs.
