Directions

Create a honey-thyme syrup by bringing ½ cup of water to a boil and adding 3 sprigs of fresh thyme. Remove from heat, and stir in honey. Steep at room temperature for about 20 minutes. Strain into a jar or bottle. (Store in fridge for up to 2 weeks.)

Muddle blueberries with lemon juice in a shaker or jar until all blueberries are smashed. Add 2 ounces honey-thyme syrup, bourbon, elderflower liqueur and a handful of ice. Close the shaker and shake for 30 seconds. Strain over ice in 2 rocks glasses. Garnish with a few fresh blueberries and a sprig of thyme.
