Ingredients
Raw Honey Almond Brownies
- 1 cup whole pitted dates
- ¼ cup water
- ½ cup coconut oil
- ⅓ cup Nate’s 100% Pure Honey
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 3 Tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tsp pure almond extract
Raw Chocolate Icing
- 1 cup whole pitted dates
- ⅓ coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp cacao powder
- ⅓ cup Nate’s 100% Pure Honey
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 3-4 Tbsp water
- Pinch of mineral salt
- Whole raw almonds, sliced, to garnish
Directions
Raw Honey Almond Brownies
Process all ingredients until very smooth in a food processor. When well combined, press into an 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Raw Chocolate Icing
Process all icing ingredients, except sliced almonds for garnish, until very creamy. Add more or less water to achieve desired consistency.
Frost brownies and garnish with sliced almonds.
Makes about 1 cup of icing.
